The Real Paint mixing tools family utilizes measured spectral paint information to generate recipes. While a significant portion of the RGB/P3 space can be reproduced, some limitations exist due to the inherent properties of color mixing. Nevertheless, the application can accommodate a range of hues outside the RGB/P3 spectrum through manual adjustments on the mixing page.

An array of Mixing Strategies is available for obtaining paint recipes:

• B and W + 2 Colors: A gray is first created using black and white, followed by two colored bases that establish hue and saturation.
• B or W + 3 Colors: This strategy employs three colored bases to set hue and saturation while black or white determines value.
• At least one opaque: Displays all potential opaque mixing combinations.
• No Black used: Showcases opaque mixing combinations excluding black.

Recipes can be categorized as either Exact or Rounded:

• Exact recipe: Each base has an amount specified to a precision of 0.01 units, beneficial for weight-based measurements using scales.
• Rounded recipe: Delivers integer amounts for each base, yielding minimal overall amounts suitable for volume-based measurements like drops or spoonfuls.

Please be aware that variations in color may occur across different batches or sections within paint tubes or jars. Testing small quantities initially is advisable to ensure that computed recipes align with desired outcomes.
